Gemini is looking for a Web Development Project Manager* who would assist in the planning, managing, and executing of projects related to website builds, landing pages creation, redesigns, and more. A Web Development Project Manager identifies all the necessary tasks required to complete one-off and/or on-going projects for the web dev team, and then strategically delegates those tasks to the appropriate developers and designers. They ensure deadlines are being met and that the projects are not going over budget by closely monitoring progress and the team’s time-tracking. This position will act as the point of contact for all internal teams, assisting with communication, workflow, and quality assurance.



  • Schedule internal and client meetings, providing well thought-out agendas ensuring all discussions points are addressed.  
  • Provide detailed call/meeting reports outlining action items, assigning tasks and setting deadlines.
  • Assist with the prioritization of tasks especially when a team member is confused as to which task should take precedence over another. 
  • Work closely with the Web Dev Team Lead to ensure projects are being followed to specification and are adhering to a specific timeline. Ensure tasks are completed within the established monthly-hours budget.
  • Provide project/program updates keeping the teams informed on progress and performance.
  • Come from a “Place of Yes” by finding solutions to roadblocks or misconceptions.
  • Diligent about optimizing workflow efficiencies and maximizing the team’s effectiveness.
  • Hold developers and designers accountable for specific deliverables that were promised to a client. 
  • Understand the process of pitching, designing, and developing a website in order to deliver a desired outcome. 
  • Work with the Web Dev team lead to strategically prioritize internal projects with the goal of making the biggest impact for Gemini’s clients while balancing the bandwidth of internal team members.



  • 5+ years of project management, practitioner, and/or account management experience in a creative or digital marketing agency environment. Experience in website development or website design is a plus.
  • Intermediate understanding of Web Development & Design. Intermediate understanding of Search Engine Optimization and technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with Basecamp (preferred) or another project management tool.
  • General Understanding of digital marketing, agency experience a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internal and client facing.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and define process, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in front end development & design, ideally in an agency environment. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while working quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to work tightly with various digital teams and be an effective communicator about the progress and process on assigned projects.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Grunt, SASS, and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of various browser capabilities and accessibility requirements.
  • General understanding of SEO best practices as it pertains to web development.
  • Must be incredibly detailed with an eye for perfection.
